JASWANTSINGHJI FATEHSINGHJI
LONDON, 1887

 

Sir Jaswantsinghji Fatehsinghji (1859– 1908) was a notable Indian ruler who held the title of Thakur Sahib of Limbdi, then situated in the Kathiawar region of Gujarat. He was educated at Rajkumar College in Rajkot, one of the oldest K-12 institutions in India. In 1887 he was awarded the insignia of the Knight Commander of the Most Eminent Order of the Indian Empire by Queen Victoria. The state of Bombay also appointed him as a member of the legislative council.
